Nomadic Home maakt en ontwikkelt domes.<\/h2>\n

De domes kunnen als tiny huis dienen, een kantoortje of gastenverblijf in je tuin zijn, een sfeervol onthaal bieden op een festival of je lekker verwarmen als sauna.<\/p>\n

Nomadic Home laat zich inspireren door onze nomadische voorouders. Hun huizen waren makkelijk af te breken, weer op te zetten en van ecologische materialen gemaakt.\u00a0<\/p>\n

De domes van Nomadic Home zijn van modules gemaakt die je makkelijk in elkaar kan zetten en weer uit elkaar kan halen. Het voordeel hiervan is dat je de dome zelfs in een moeilijk toegankelijk gebied kan plaatsen en de omgeving niet hoeft te verstoren. De materialen zijn ecologisch: hout, kurk en vilt.<\/p>\n

Naar wens kunnen de domes op maat gemaakt worden, tot ongeveer 50m2. Het vilt zorgt voor isolatie en een houtkachel maakt de tent in de winter lekker warm. Het dak kan worden bekleed met brandveilig doek in verschillende kleuren of epdm dakbekleding voor een lange onderhoudsvrije levensduur.<\/p>\n

Nomadic Home is geinspireerd door de huizen van onze nomadische voorouders. Zij hebben in de prehistorie ontdekt wat vandaag nog relevant is: hoe we met materialen uit onze natuurlijke omgeving eenvoudig verplaatsbare huizen maken. Zij waren de eersten die modulaire ecolgische prefabs ontwikkelden.<\/p>\n

Gedurende 7 jaar heb ik, Kay Krakauer, ervaren hoe het is om in een nomadisch huis, een yurt, te wonen. Het opbouwen van je eigen huis (de grond egaliseren, het opzetten van het frame en de verschillende lagen doeken erop leggen), leert je je eigen huis helemaal kennen. Wanneer je naar het frame kijkt, zie je hoe simpel ingenieus het frame door de jaren heen ontwikkelt is. De ronde vorm, het licht en de geluiden, in elk seizoen anders maakten het tot een bijzonder thuis.<\/p>\n

Vanuit deze ervaring ben ik begonnen met het bouwen en ontwikkelen van domes om anderen ook deze ervaring te bieden.<\/p>\n
